Z4root on a new Droid , no computer needed

I just recieved a Motorola Droid in the mail today & had to Root it immediately . I was able to do it all on the phone , no need for cables & ADB . I downloaded a program ( Z4root.apk) trhat I discovered during a Google search . I downloaded it with the phones stock browser , installed it using the built in package manager app , & then proceeded to enable USB Debugging & Enable the installation of non market downloads . It was incredibly easy & took only minutes . I havnt flashed a custom rom yet but I did download SetCPU & overclocked it . Ill post some screen shots & pics soon .

Hello World

This is my first attempt at actual programming for the Android & PS3 Platforms . I have a lot of experience hacking the devices , rooting , unlocking , custom roms & firmwares so I will still cover some of this stuff as well . I am going to start by creating a couple of themes for each platform & then move on to basic apps / games . I will also try my hand at porting some software . Forget Microsoft Surface, what do you think about having a 32-inch Android-powered touchscreen display in your living room? That possibility might not be too far off , thanks to the engineers over at SKR Technology in Japan. Primarily a company that designs and builds digital signage, they were approached by several customers who wanted a large screen device that had multi-touch functionality similar to a smartphone. Since they frequently work with Windows, they tried building a solution around Windows 7, but it just didn’t function as smoothly as they would like. Instead they turned towards Android, but were disappointed to find out that none of their suppliers supported the OS. Instead of scrapping the project, they build their own interface that allows an Android-powered device to interact with multi-touch displays.
